Drink

"I visited Roger in hospital. He was quite cheerful, given the circumstances.
"The nurses are fantastic in this place," he commented, winking at me, "Look at the arse on that one. Alright luv! Nice arse!"
The nurse glared at me as if it was my fault.
Another nurse came up to us. She looked at me with surprise and said: "Oh, it's you. How are you feeling now?"
"Not too bad," I said, "I'm a bit worried about my rent and my head's a bit sore from where those stones hit me, oh and sometimes I wake up in the night crying, but other than that, you know... alright I suppose."
"I see the swelling's gone down," she said, examining my groin.
"Yes." I said, "Although I haven't urinated for about a week. Which is a bit strange."
"Listen," she said, "would you like to come out for a drink with me sometime?"
"Yes, I'd love to." I replied.
I looked at Roger. He had clenched his fist and squashed it in the crook of his elbow.
"Go on my son," he said.
