I've got a girlfriend!
I'm very excited and I really believe this could be the turning point in my life. When I told the school, they said that I could start my job again on Monday. It seems, after all my troubles, things have begun to go my way again.
Her name is Saskia and I met her through an online dating agency for Russian women who are looking for British men to marry. Who'd have thought that you could meet a new girlfriend through the internet!
Its amazing the things you can find while searching Google.
I was very nervous when I went to meet her at the airport, and when I saw her I was even more nervous as she was even more pretty than she was in her pictures. But my anxiety was soon dispelled when she saw me and a big smile spread across her face. She ran over to me, gave me a big hug and then kissed me on the cheek.
"I very pleased to meet you Bob!" she shouted, "You very handsome man!"
I thanked her and told her how pleased I was to meet her. Then I noticed that a very big man with a beard was staring at us. He walked over and grabbed my hand, shaking it quite vigorously.
"This is Sergei, my brother," Saskia said, "I said he come stay as well, I hope you don't mind."
"No no, not at all," I said.
Later, when we got back to my flat, Saskia insisted that I sleep on the sofa while she took the bedroom. She explained that we didn't really know each other well enough to sleep together and besides, it wasn't the done thing back home in Russia.
It was quite difficult to get to sleep that night, what with all the excitement.
That and all the noise Saskia and Sergei were making in the bedroom.
